I may look more like a rocker than a hairstylist. But the truth is that I quit the rock scene at 25 years old. I was formerly the front man for 2 rather high profile original bands in Kansas City, MO. I started as a lead singer at 17 with the teen metal band Shock. We recorded an album on Greenworld Records called "Up and Coming". It was a raunchy screamer but for some strange reason it's still selling in Japan. Those whacky Japanese are paying $50 a pop for it. I have no idea why!

From '89-'93 I fronted Downtown Clown. We were the ultimate party/sex rock band. There is still a DTC website where fans continue to download our music, photos and videos. I'd recommend downloading the video for "Pet Names". You can see the spectacle that was DTC. But if you laugh about my sequined shorts we're gonna have problems! Just kidding. It was funny then and even funnier now. We were also the first band to combine rap with rock. But we were always classified as "Comedy/Rock" as our shows were packed with humor.
